The Dow was up 0.8% last week, the S&P 500 was up 0.3%, and the NASDAQ was up 0.1%. December was a strong month, and we had an excellent 4th quarter, too. For 2023, the Dow finished up 13.7%, the S&P finished up 24.2%, and the NASDAQ finished up a massive 43.4% – the second-best year for the NASDAQ this century. The guys share an interesting stat about the 10-year treasury yield, which tends to be the most-traded bond in the marketplace and serves as a building block for the determination of mortgage rates.
